Below are some of the most popular ways other community partners have secured funding to bring our signature Mobile Lab programs to their classrooms, schools, organizations, and events.

SCHOOL PTO’s
Many schools have parent teacher organizations that host fundraisers to help teachers bring special learning projects to students. Ask your school leadership or PTO chair what the application process is for securing special project funding.

GRANTS
Here are some great sources for grant funding. We know first-hand that many of the following funders care about STEM-based educational experiences and have helped other partners engage with our programs:

LOCAL SERVICE CLUBS
Local service clubs like Optimists, Rotary, Kiwanis, and Sertoma usually give out funding to support community education & youth engagement projects. Check the internet and Facebook to see if there’s a club in your community and contact them to see if funding is available.

BUSINESS SPONSORS
Since our Mobile Lab experiences are so affordable, many local businesses find it easy to donate a few hundred dollars to help create hands-on educational experiences for kids. Think about who in your community supports education, innovation, creativity, and STEM experiences, then ask them to help!

INDIVIDUAL DONORS
Think about people who believe in your work and might be willing to help give kids extraordinary experiences. A letter or phone call often goes a long way. Tell them you’re raising money to team up with Creative Adventure Lab, a proven program delivery partner known for fostering creativity and innovation through hands-on, immersive experiences.
